Project Brief
The AncientWeb.com is an online educational website with an e commerce component focused on the history and culture of the ancient world. Through curated outbound articles, and rich authored content, it has become one of the most successful ancient world portals since its launch in 1998. I founded this website in order to have an outlet for my deep interests in Art, Archaeology, and the ancient world’s great civilizations, and it has now become a collaboration that has grown into a separate ancient WebStore as well.
Success Criteria and Results
Key to the success of this online portal, is the content managed and and visual design theme that serves up rich educational content. Various authors contribute organic relevant articles that drive user registration to the various features, and products supported by the webstore. The site is fully responsive and is driven by marketing automated and relevant content. The site has an active registered base, and drives over 100k new visitors on average per month.
